Why build a pipeline tracker?

Step 1: Define your business objects

Step 2: Start with a simple process

Try out a 3-phase scenario:

  1. Qualify
  2. Propose
  3. Close

Add in any key items that you want checked/actioned (don't worry you can always add more later).

Step 3. Well, actually that's it - give it a try

Step 4: Make it your own

You can, of course, extend the model. You are likely to want to associate deals to Accounts (in honesty, we should have included this in the video!) just select the Company template, rename it to something like "Account" and Save it. Then add the "Account" as a "Relation" field into your Deal.
